Thanks so much for your comments and for reading my blog.  I actually know how your wife felt...about my sounding too negative.  I also felt the same way when we were just starting out the first time.  Caution her, too, that the Weaver's Craft Toddler Adoption book will sound even MORE negative...but she should take that as a grain of salt.
As for my post, I actually meant to sound negative.  Without trying to sound condescending, and as I'm sure you are learning, Ukraine adoption is not something to be taken lightly, and it's not something that is guaranteed and the outcome, while mostly awesome (i.e. finding a child), it's a lot of work--not only in a rough country...but afterwards, while your children try to adjust.  
But I think your mindset is perfect...nothing is certain, but you will get through it if you take it one day at a time.
I wish you and your wife all the best of luck in your endeavor!</description>
